belly rings during pregnancy
just wondering how many of you left your belly rings in while pregnant? did it work out ok? if you took them out, did the hole close or leave a scar? Ive had mine in for about 8 yrs and I am 21 weeks along so far and switched the metal bar I had in to one of those "pregnany belly rings" that is plastic and bendable to grow with you. any thoughts or input on this topic? thanks ladies! :)

I took mine out at about 22 weeks. I just didnt want it. The skin on my stomach is getting tight enough, I couldnt stand having it in anymore.
The hole is still there, it supposedly doesnt really ever close up (so they told me). They told me to come back after the baby and they'll put it back in for me.
But I'm 32, I've had the ring since I was 20..I'm done wearing it.

They have pregnancy piercings....www.pregnancypiercing.com. I actually ordered one but I wound up taking it all out when my pants were rubbing against it annoying me.

I had taken mine out before I got pg.. I now have my tatto stetching..
I did see one of my friends who left it in and then took it out and the scar was gross as her belly got bigger.
Not to scare you just letting you know what I saw..

My girlfriend left hers in through both her pregnancies with no problems whatsoever. Her ring/hole didn't stretch at all and looks completely normal now.

I took mine out after i found out i was pg. I had it for 8 years too. My hole closed and now it's totally stretched. It's kind of cute looking, the stretched scar looks like a heart

I had that plastic one also then I lost it, I only had it in from 25 to 28 weeks and I kept nothing in from 28 to 38 and I have top and bottom pierced and they are both still open, I just put my belly rings back in...

I took mine out about halfway through my pg. The hole didn't close up but it did stretch a little, not too bad though. I put it back in a few weeks after giving birth. Why, I couldn't tell ya.
