Ear Piercing Question

My peds office said they used an IV needle to pierce the babies ears, which makes me feel very uncomfortable because it seems really painful. How did your ped do it or where did you take them to have it done?

My pediatricians office pierces ears but her pediatrician told me not to waste my money with them - they said they were very expensive. They recommended I take my daughter to the Piercing Pagoda in the mall, so when she was 4 months old, thats where we went. She cried for about 30 seconds and she was fine.

I went to a jewelry store near where I live, they did a great job a it was only a few seconds. She cried just a little, and then forgot about it. I'm so happy I got them done now, cause she wont play with them. When there older they tough them to much which can then cause infection.

My friend just had her daughter's done at a booth in the Smithaven mall (right outside of Build a Bear). They asked how old she was...(she is almost 3 months).

I went to a Jewelry store in Brooklyn. It took all of one minute with the gun, and she didn't even cry. It's been a week, and she hasn't noticed them yet.
