I am soo confused... I am 16 weeks today but...
I just read that this is the end of my fourth month? I thought I was just turning 4 months. I keep saying I am four months PG? Now Next week I will be 5 months or in my fifth month?
I am sooo confused I doesn't help that I have PG brain

Unfortnately- there is no stead fast rule. Its so confusing, especially since a month is not exactly 28 days.
I go by a new month every 4 weeks- so at 16 weeks, you are 4 months and about to start your fifth month. Just like you turn 1 year old after your first year. For me, I'm 22 weeks, so I am 5 1/2 months.
But that's just the way I do it. Everyone has their own way.

It's so weird, cause i've drove myself nuts figuring this out too. Depending on the source I have read approx 18-22 weeks is 5 months pg, and 13-17 is 4 months pg.
So shelly, you could be starting your 6th month soon.

I do it by the actual months...the first day of my last period was Sept 1, so right now I say I'm about 3 1/2 months pregnant. If you do it by weeks, you end up with infamous 10 month pregnancy.

I do it this way too. I am at 23 weeks now, so I am 5 3/4 months, next week I will be 6 mths

Thats the way I figure it out too. 4 weeks = 1 month. I'm 19 weeks, so I consider myself 4 mos and 3 wks PG.
