baby's weight gain?

Emily was 9lbs 10oz at birth, was 9-6 when we came home from the hospital, and now

1 week: 9-6
3 weeks: 10-8
5 weeks: 11-4 (today)

I'm wondering how much all of your babies gained at 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, etc.

The doctors seem pleased, but I am wondering about what amount of weight gain is normal.

Emma gained about 1lbs a month and Jeremy gained 1-2lbs a month (Jeremy born at 7lbs 8oz and now at 9 1/2 months he's 20lbs)

By 6 months baby should double his/her birthweight.

Okay well Emily is about 1.5 lbs over her birth weight and she's 5 weeks! So I think that's okay!

Miranda was 8lbs at birth, 7lb 4oz when we come home and when she was weighed last Friday she was 9lb 5oz. She's a slow gainer though because of the reflux she doesn't eat as much as some other babies but she's gaining and healthy so thats all that matters right now.

Ava was 7lbs. 13oz. at birth, left the hospital at 7lbs. 9oz. and when we took her to the doctor at 6 weeks 4 days (which was her last visit) ahe weighed 9lbs. 10 oz.

Jacob weighed 8lbs,3 oz, when he was born at one month he was 9lbs 1 oz, znd at his 2nd month appointment he was 11lbs 11 oz...

My little girl is a porker
She was born at 6lbs, 1 ounce
Now, at 7 weeks, she's 9lbs, 5 ounces... she gained half her body weight already!

Joseph is exactly 4lbs more than his birthweight now @ 6 1/2 wks

at 8 weeks my son weighed 12 lbs, he was 6 lbs 10 oz at birth, was about 9 1/2 lbs at 1 month.

Ryan is just about 2lbs over his birthweight now at 6 weeks...

He was born 7-12

Came home 6-12

1st visit 7

2nd visit - 7-12

1 month- 8-8

and the other week I weighed him with me and he was 9-9

I think my baby average 2lbs a month in the beginning. I typically have my appointments in the middle of his month.

Born at 7lbs 2oz (3 weeks early)
2nd Month (6 week visit) - 11lbs
Mid-3rd Month - 13lbs 11 oz
Mid-4th Month - 16lbs 2 oz
Late-5th Month - 17lbs 15 oz
Early 9th Month -23lbs 3oz

Since his 2nd month he has always been in 90th percentile for height and weight.

I posted a weight topic also: I was nervous of my daughters fast weight gain but the doctor said shes doing fine and when her height catches up she will slim out. Julia weighed 8lbs 5 oz at birth, when she came home she was 8-3. At one month she was 12-3, then at 2 months she was 15-6, at 3 months she was 17-9. Shes 4 months now, and she is still over her %-tile but not way off the curve.
