12 week sono? UpDATE!!!!!!! have another question......
I go on Monday for my first external sonogram. (it is the UltraScreen)
Will I be able to see the flickering of the baby's heart like I did when I had the internal sono's?
Update: I had my 12 week sono (Ultrascreen) it was the best. It was both internal and external. The baby was moving around so much. We heard the heartbeat (just for a little bit). We saw so much!!!! We saw the baby opening and closing its mouth!!!
We could not believe how much the baby was moving around!!!
new question: how long before I get the results from the ultrascreen???
I got my results - Normal!!!!

I guess I would have seen that same thing on my 12 wk sono, only they couldn't get a profile picture because the baby was on its stomach, so instead, I got that alien shot of him/her.

At my 12 week sono DH saw that we were having a boy!! And the tech confirmed it!!
So you'll definitely be able to see alot.

I knew the NT number right away, but I think that the ultrascreen is also combined with the blood test around 15 weeks or so, you you still have some time before you find out all the results.

Nuchal Translucency. The number that correlates to the thickness of the skin fold on the neck, and early indicator for Down's (hence the reason for the sono). They can tell what that number is from the sono. Mine was something like 0.12, I forget really.

Very exciting We were told all looked great at the sono itself but then they took blood too and sent us the results (all great) in the mail a few days later.

I saw my dr. tonight and heard the heart beat!!! i will get the results from the ultrascreen by the begining of next week!!! I'll get the results from my doctor!
