HOw sad   Sad for the poor guy that felt so down that he decided to do such a terrible thing
and sad that your DH and others had to witness something so traumatic

OMG, how terrible. My heart goes out to his family, it's so sad. I really hope your DH is okay, I can't imagine seeing something like that. Support him as much as you can and hopefully if he needs it, he'll talk to someone like you suggested.
