I wanna share my good news with my LIF girls!!!
Well....right now I teach pre-k full time...(Fridays the last day) and then I usually become a camp counselor for the summer...
This summer I decided the pool, the sports, the field trips, and the heat would not be in my best interest due to the fact Im pg... so I decided to help out in the Daycare part of the school, in the infant room...
Then in Sept. float or sub..since it would not be fair to take on a class full of kids for the month of Sept leave in the middle of Oct and not return until January...
Now I was very nervous, my job holds my postion for 12 weeks.. (even though only the 1st 6 are paid I was taking the whole 12) My FMIL was going to watch baby ryan until she had to go to work at 11:30 everyday... which would mean I would go down to part time (working like 630-11 m-f) I was worried then when I told them my plans... they'd said well we only held your full time position...its that or nothing... (although my boss and I are really close, somtimes s**t happenns..)
ANYWAYS... a few nights ago..I was offered a promotion to work in the office... this summer Ill help out 20hrs a week in the baby room and train the other 20 in the office...
When september comes I will continue to take care of the books and help out in the office, and when I came back from having the baby I would go down to part time... Make my own hours...as long as I was 5 days a week....
Things couldnt of worked out more perfectly... I get to take it easy from now up until I have the baby...and I get the hours I want after he is born!
Im just so happy... and i wanted to share my news with my Fav girls!!!
