So after considering Europe, Califormia, Mexico for our vacation we decided on ....
Aruba! For those of you who have been to Aruba, would you mind sharing how much $$$ you spent on eating for 1 week? We are trying to decide wheter to go all-inclusive or not.

It is so nice there!!
We didn't do all inclusive b/c we heard how awesome some of the restaurants there were - and they were incredible.
We would spend about $60 to $100 on dinner a night. For breakfast we would just grab bagels or donuts by the beach and then a small snack for lunch.
Some of our favorite restaurants were:
El Gaucho - an Argentinian steak place and Flying Fishbone - the most romantic place I have ever had dinner... you sit with your feet in the water at sunset... totally incredible.

I was thinking it wouldn't be so bad to not do an all-inclusive, because the place we are considering going to has a kitchen in the room. It is better for me to make my own breakfast anyway (IBS, lactose intolerant) so I was thinking about making breakfast there and maybe sandwiches for lunch, then going out for a nie dinner every night. Thats what we did in Hawaii and it worked out great!

That definitely sounds like a good idea... there really are so many good restaurants for dinner there.

We went on our honeymoon. I don't remember how much we spent on meals, but I wouldn't do all inclusive if I were you, there are too many great restaurants to try. Your idea about making breakfast and lunch sounds good. Have a great time !

That is such a great way to save money, and it is fun to dress up and go out for a nice dinner each night. That is what we do at disney.
