Does anyone use their baby carrier in the winter?
I have the Playtex Hip Hammock and I don't use it in the winter because my jacket is so bulky...anyone else not use theirs or am I the only one?

It was cold here over the weekend and I found it hard to use my sling if I wore a coat.

I don't use one but a friend of mine uses here all the time as she take public transport, she wears it under her coat and does the coat up so that her little girls head is sticking out. Its very cute.

I used to do the same, wear the carrier and then my coat over it.

I barely used a baby carrier yet anyway --I think we may have used it a whopping 2 times -- however I work in Brooklyn and the women in there use it ALLLLLL the time. I see them walking around with thier baby carriers on and extra blankets put on over the baby all tucked into the baby carrier, so it's definately something that can be done. I haven't seen it with the hip carrier though -- just front carriers.
