Water safe again in West Hempstead
Newsday article
Just saw it on the news, thought I'd post it. I would run my water more than a few minutes, I would empty my pipes and possibly what was in the hot water heater to be on the safe side.

I ran my faucets for a few minutes and then I took my much needed shower.
I'm drinking bottled water from now on...instead of my Brita.
