In your opinion what is th ebest vacation you have gone on with the children?
and if not what would be your ideal vacation with kids that you can afford?

the best one was to dorney park with out a doubt! two parks for 1 price and it was great! and there was a nice but cheap hotel with in ten min!

Our first family vacations were:
Lake George
Hersey Park, Lancaster Pennsylvania
Virginia Beach (had a great time at the beach and Busch Gardens)
Florida - Disney
Maine - whale watching
Great Adventure
Just some ideas for you :)

I have heard that Club Med in Florida is a great affordable place to go with kids.

We went to Disney last year and it was a pretty terrible trip for family conflict reasons, but we had fun with the kids, I am looking forward to returning next Spring, I think it will be great!!

My daughter has been on three cruises and with the childrens activites they have she firmly believes that vacation experience was made just for her. We were just there because she is too young to travel alone (in her mind at least). They work well for the baby too.

we went to Bar Harbor Maine and loved it.
I use to be a nanny and they enjoyed going to dude ranches. That was a blast.

DH and I went to Ocean City, MD last year - no kids, but I'm sure you could take them there, tons of info on the web. FYI- The ocean side is more expensive then the bay side. We stayed at the bayview inn on 70th street(?)
