OPK Question
I was reading the FAQ on the OPK and it was saying something about it not being affective if the person has PCOS. Any idea why or what it would show?

Re: OPK Question
According to peeonastick.com, PCOS is usually characterized by elevated LH (hence the positive OPK's), and is common in women with very long and/or anovulatory cycles.
Luteinizing hormone (LH) is present in the urine almost all the time, but increases significantly-- surges-- about 12-36 hours before ovulation. HTH
