Today is Nate's 1st day at day care....
I was kinda sad after I dropped him off. I ended up going back bc I realized that I left my wallet in his diaper bag. The owner told me that he didn't cry, but he did walk to the door after I left the first time. He held my hand and walked towards the door.  But when I walked out he didn't cry, so I guess that's a good thing.
When I started work 7 weeks ago, I wasn't sad at all because he was with the ILs. This is the first time a non-family member is taking care of him since he was born.

It gets easier, I promise! It was so hard on me the first couple of weeks that I found if I left minimal time to linger, it helped...
Good Luck and each day WILL get better!

I know how hard it is too leave them for the first time but at least he wasn't crying and I am sure he will have a fun day and wat ch he will pick up alot from being around the other kids and learn alot more my DD is doing so much more now that she has been in daycare. I promise you it will get easier and wait till you pick him up he will be so happy to see you. He may not wanna leave cuz I know my DD never wants to leave but he will be happy to see you
