Ok totally weird, (remote car starter)
My heart just sank! I am sitting here working away and I hear my car start up in the driveway! 
So I run to the window and sure enough my car is running, I go and wake up DH in a panic thinking someone is gonna drive away with my car - go downstairs... hmm car is still there, keys are on the hook where they normally are and ou motion light in not on.....
I have a remote starter, so the car just started itself????? WTH?!!

My friend had the same thing happen. It turns out that someone down the street also has a remote starter and the signal was getting crossed!

Yea sometimes the "air waves" do get crossed.
We have a fart machine hooked up in our house, so when our friend comes by and unlocks and locks her car doors thru her remote key chain, we hear "fart" noises in our house. We know she's here!

Yikes! My car alarm went off in my driveway the other day and that freaked me out! I would have passed out if it started by itself.

Is "air waves" a pun? That's too funny! We don't need a fart machine here, I have DH.

there are some remote starters that will automatically start the car if the battery starts to get to low... could that be a possibility?

It happens to my starter but usually because some short little person has found my keys. I would definitely call the dealership or installer.

jenn! I was just gonna update that my DH suggested that this morning, its the only thing he can think of. How odd still... what if you are not around to hear it start? It shuts off in 10 min so you would never know.
Tracy - got it done at a car accessory sort of place not the dealer so I'll give them a buzz and ask about the battery thing.
