Disappointed.....
They didnt do a sono today. I will get one in 2 weeks
He just did the Doppler and heard the heartbeats.
But I found out I have Thycemia (spelled that wrong) some form of anemia.

OOOH, two more weeks to speculate...I actually had my sono at 21 weeks and I was so happy because the baby was soo visible at that point. My friend got one at 17.5 weeks and it was tinier. I got to see thumb-sucking and she actually stretched and turned her back on us! It was great! Your turn will come...
Sorry about the Thyecemia, does that mean you need to take more Iron???

No, the nurse said that no matter how much Iron I take it wont help, as long as DH does NOT have the trait, and he doesnt, so she said NOT to worry about it.

But by the next time you go back for a sonogram, the babies will be bigger and they'll def. be able to determine the sex w/out a doubt

If you have Thalassemia make sure they check hubby. I'm sure they explained this to you. I carry the trait but hubby doesn't. My cousin and his wife both carried the trait and have a sick daughter(Cooleys Anemia). I had to go on extra iron for the rest of my pregnancy.......
Just read your post that hubby doesn't have the trait.....EXCELLENT!!

ah thank god. My DH has this trait but I dont so we will be fine. Its a Mediteranean Blood disease.
