I think what is going on is disgusting.
When I found out about the home in Mastic Beach on Eleanor Drive or Ave, I went to mapquest to see how far the house was from my house, since I am on the border of Mastic/Manorville. It was 6 or 7 miles away, which is a long walk and you would have to cross Montaukl Hwy and Sunrise Highway, but still it makes me uneasy.
The Manor Park Civic Association which I am a member of helped with the demonstration a couple of weeks ago that was held on the corner of William Floyd Parkway and I think Montauk Highway.
From what I read in the local paper they are kicking them out because it violates a law that says they can't live within a quarter mile anyplace where children congregate. The house is in within a quarter mile of the Poospatuck Community Center.
I am not a mean person, but these sex offenders should be in jail forever!

i agree
i feel that sex offenders belong in jail forever
and a lot of these sickos are LEVEL 3
i am actually shocked that they do allow level 3 out of the prisons
