Top Point-Japanese Hair Straightening
Hi Everyone! I have been reading a lot of posts regarding Japanese Straightening, but this is my first post on this forum! (I used to post on LIWeddings before my wedding last June) I have decided after reading so many success stories to get it done! I called Top Point (since I know a lot of you had wonderful experiences there) and will be going a week from this Sat. The woman on the phone was a bit hard to understand....so I thought it might be easier to ask you all a few questions.
How long did the process take you? I have a 9am appt.....how long should I expect to be there?
How much was it? (I think most said $200, correct?)
And would anyone have any pics who have done it while their hair is wet? Does it really just dry straight?
I have been blowing drying my hair straight for 10 years now!!! I am so excited to get this done!!! Thank you to everyone who posted it about it!!!

Nicole, Here is a link to My review
I went last Saturday and yesterday was the first day I washed it - I only blew it a little with the dryer so it wasn't sopping and it was totally straight. This morning i didn't even do that - just combed it down and let it dry - no frizzies with this weather either.
I love it!!

Re: Top Point-Japanese Hair Straightening
I went to go get my hair blown out the day before my wedding, and I asked the girl who was doing the blow out about the Japanese straightening, and she said she wouldn't recommend it, that afterwards you can't even put a bend in it and its really flat. She said I should get it relaxed instead. I was all set to make an appointment for the Japanese Straightening, and now I am not sure what to do!

Relaxing can make your hair very dry and damaged.
I japanese straightened and I wear the ends with curls basically every day. It holds all day

not true at all- I have been getting it done for YEARS
I had my hair curled on my wedding day
here is a pick 3 days after my last straigtening
most hair stylist don't even know I have had it done- and they are shocked when I tell them
( I had some tell me the same thing- but then you ask them if they have taken the class or seen it done- and they say no)Image Attachment(s):
