Need NYC restaurant suggestion
DH and I are going to see "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" on the Sunday after V-Day. We want a nice restaurant for dinner.
The theatre is at:
Westside Theatre
407 West 43rd Street
(between 9th and 10th)
New York, NY, 10036
Can anyone recommend a restaurant, either Italian or American/Steakhouse? Nothing too fancy, just good food.

I heard Rosie O'Gradys is really nice. Its a very upscale bar/restaurant. Definitely good for steaks.
I believe its on 7th avenue somewhere around 51st.

Restaurant Row --- I love The Hourglass -- great food and great prices. Also Jimmy's Grand Sea Palace (seafood and Thai).

what about nick and stef's steakhouse right outside the garden...my dh loves their steaks....its a bit $$ but not too far either...

Got a great one for you It's called Cite Grill. Right next to Radio City Music Hall. It is prix-fixe. I believe 60 PP. Unlimited..yes thats right I said Unlimited wine! and a 3 course meal. Very good!

oh i totally second this! i love this place but i would check about the prix fixe before you go bc for some reason i think its only offered on week days.

Rachel's on 9th between 43rd and 44th is one of my favorites. The food is awsome, the atmosphere is nice and the price is reasonable.
Le Madeline on 43rd and 9th has good food and has a really cute indoor garden dining area.
Basilica on 9th btwn 46th and 47th has good italian food and is really reasonable. It is really small, but cozy feeling.
