Removing your Belly-Ring??
After 10 years I finally took out my belly ring  I am worried that the hole will never close  Anyone who has had one and took it out - did your yours close and how long did it take? TIA

I removed mine, I guess about 7 months ago. Not sure how long it took to close, but it is closed now

I had to take mine out when I was pregnant, and it is closed to the point that I couldn't get another one in again, but there is like tissue or something that I can feel that runs through from opening to opening. It doesn't hurt, but every once in a while if I squeeze it white hard stuff will come out. So I don't think it ever completly healed or closed, and it has been over 7 years.

it closed rather quickly....both times. I had it done twice since the 1st one had to be removed for surgery.

Mine closed but I do have a little circular scar. I took my out about 3 years ago. I had it for about 8 years

Thank you for asking this!! I have never ever ever taken out my belly ring because it makes me to think about but I know I have to do it, it's not exactly becoming on a 27 year old Does it feel weird when you take it out? I've had mine in for 8 years.

I had mine taken out a few weeks ago and they told me the hole would never completely close up, but it looks pretty closed up to me! There is a slit where the hole used to be and it looks a little darker than the rest of my skin, you can def see that there was something there at one point, but I didnt have any major scaring or anything.

I rememeber my sister helping me remove mine--as i lay on the bed--with the jaws of life and a plier LOL we could not get that sucka open!!!!! but yes the hole eventually closed up--i do see a tiny dot there tho

I have the same thing- except I have two b/c mine wasn't on the top but through the bottom (like my stomach)
I had it in 12 years b/f I took it out.

At first it was weird...I kept thinking it was gonna be there and then when I touched my stomach it was strange. But now I am used to it. Glad I took it out. Now only if I can get my tattoo removed

I had mine in for about 5 yrs and decided one day, Im too old for this...plus my stomach wasnt as flat as it used to be,
I swear..it took like a yr for it to close up completely but the hole is still there. Its not too visible and I dont think anyone ever noticed that I had a belly ring.
