Made a w.w. recipe for dinner
I ordered w.w. five star recipe book from oxmor house. I made a chicken dish tonite. it was really good. i just need to spice it up a bit and decrease the flour a drop. here's the recipe:
Oven-fried chicken 1 cup egg suubstitute 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspon garlic powder 1 teaspon paprrika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 1/4 teaspoon white pepper 3 chicken breast halves (about 1 1/2 pounds), skinned 3 chicken drunsticks (about 3/4 pound) skinned 3 chicken thighs (abut 3/4 pound) skinned Cooking spriay 1 tablespsoon butter, melted
1. preheat oven to 400 degrees 2. place egg subsitute in a shallow dish. combine flour and the next 5 ingredients in a shallow dish. dip chicken pieces in egg substitute and drenge in flour mixture. dip and drede each piece a second time. 3. arrange chicken on a jelly-roll apn coated with cooking spray. drizzle butter over chicken. bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes or until done. yield:6 servings(serving size 1 breast half or 1 thigh and 1 drumstick
