How many of you are traveling for the holidays?
I mean traveling out of state...are you flying or driving? Did you book flights/hotel, etc yet? (Vote yes if you are traveling for at least one holiday)

I think we're driving to my parent's house in Delaware for the holiday.
We alternate years between DH's family and mine and it's my turn!
Hopefully next year we will have a baby in our midst and then we get to start having our "own" Thanksgivings!! **fingers crossed**

Unless we go to Phili for thanksgiving- we are staying home- then again- we don't celebrate Christmas so its not much of an issue for us. New Years I will be around 6 months pregnant- so I won't be venturing far. Probably going to my office in Times Square to watch the ball drop.

We will be driving to Pennsylvania (lower Bucks county area) for Christmas and we will drive down to LI for Thanksgiving, but I think we will be coming home that same evening from LI. We will probably stay a couple days in PA at a hotel since DH's folks have a small house and DH's sister has two kids who will wake us at the crack of dawn!

My firs time hosting a big Holiday -- for both families!  We are hosting THanksgiving...
We are both the youngest of 6 -- throw in nieces, nephews, in-laws and I certainly have my work cut out for me!!

Since this is my last holiday here, I am staying put. I think DH is going to Michigan for Christmas to see his brother's family. I hate using vacation time for fam visits though. So I am sticking around here.

I answered wrong - I put not sure but actually we are going on a criuse for Christmas with DH whole family. So, we'll be flying to FL and then cruising. I am NOT looking forward to flying on Christmas Day!

Flying on Christmas is the best it's less crowded. I do it almost every xmas, I go to NY a few days before to visit my family and then fly back to Chicago on xmas day to eat dinner with DH and his parents.
My family is actually coming to Chicago for Thanksgiving for Nate's christening. I'm not sure if we are going to NY for xmas yet.

We are going to Disney for Christmas. This time MIL and BIL are coming with Dh and I.
ETA: We are flying on Christmas eve and new years day.

We are spending Thanksgiving with DH's family in Boston this year.  His class reunion is the night before and my SIL's Birthday is the Saturday after, so we'll be up there for almost a week. We're driving.

thanksgiving is at my dad's near dc... but then we're up on li for christmas... We'll be all over the place, i'm sure.
Having two sets of divorced parents makes the holiday's so difficult

We are driving down to Florida to my dads for Thanksgiving. Thanks for the reminder, I have to book the hotel. Dad offered for us to stay at his house, which is huge, but there are going to be soooo many people there, that we will be more comfy staying in a hotel. Plus we are making a mini vacation out of this so staying in the hotel is more fun!!

Does the day after Thanksgiving count? We are flying out of here Friday night.
For Thanksgiving Day I think we are going to my relatives house in Lake Grove. My cousin took over my old apt. in the house...Cant wait to see what she did with the place..LOL, Ive heard stories.  
Christmas Day we may stay local, although, my sil and bil are expecting a baby beginning of Dec. We may be in NJ and swing by Brooklyn on the way home. We have no idea. All up in the air.
