Speaking of LIPA..heatwave related bills..

So we've lived here for three months and since we spend 1/2 our time here and 1/2 in PA, our first two bills have been about 50 bucks now the new bill came and it's tripled to $151 dollars, how can that be?? yes we were here during the heatwave but running the a/c's for a week really costs this much??
