2nd Time Around Moms

I BF my son for 6 months and didnt get AF back until about 2 weeks after I stopped. My cycles have been VERY messed up since anywhere from 21 days to 38 days.

Has anyone else experienced this? We've been trying to get pregnant since I stopped nursing him (which was 8 months ago!) with BD'ing every other day and so far nothing!!!

My DR just tells me to BD every other day from CD 7 through about CD 21 (if I make it that far) but now thats its been so long I am starting to get nervous....

I don't think you should be upset just yet. Normally it can take up to 1 year to get a BFP. You can ask your OB to run blood tests and see what is going on with your cycles. Personally I would chart and see what that shows you. Charting can really help you understand your body.

I also BF my son but for only 3 mths and my cycles were way off. Since we didn't want to have another one soon (this was 6 yrs ago), my doctor suggested I go on birth control. I did and my cycles were consistent. When I went off the birth control, my cycles were still consistent. Now I am preganant with my 2nd.
Like the other poster suggested, try charting.
