Need new OBGYN (pref. female)
Hi all...I am new to this site and have been browsing through all your posts...everyone seems so helpful!!
My husband and I recently decided to start trying to have a baby. I just found out that the Dr at my practice in Syosset is going to stop delivering so I need like to find a new doctor (I also had a bad experience there so I do not want to try another doctor is the same practice).
I have been doing so much research and am having such a hard time deciding (I am indecisive enough as it is, this isnt easy for me  )...
I'm looking for a female doctor...has anyone been to Dr Fradella in Massapequa? I'm considering her bc I have heard its good to find a doctor who is by herself...any thoughts on that? Or any other OBGYN recommendations are greatly appreciated!!!

i have a fantastic obgyn shes in great neck though, is that too far?? if not, i can send you all the info. she delivered both my children.

thank you all for your suggestions. ive heard the most positive input about dr hanauer. i called her office and the first appt they could give me was march 30th, and i just found out that i will be out of town that week 
regarding dr bezalel...have you gone to her for awhile? i hear from a lot of people that woman do not have a good "bedside manner" - however, my previous dr was a female and i absolutely LOVED her...how is dr bezalel's? i looked up a book of the top doctors in NY and her partner, dr khulpateea, was listed as one...i will try calling their office tomorrow and see what i can get!

I use Dr. Fradella and I like her. She does have a PA with her and I have seen her aswell and she is also really good. I just starting going to her when I found out I was pregnant and I have no complaints. She is affliated with Winthrop. Feel free to FM me if you have any questions.

Dr. Hanauer here too...
Love her stop recommending her...i need her to deliver my baby...i don't think I will be able to do it w/ out her..she is that awesome.

LOL, I was going to say something along the same lines like - stop recommending her we are going to have a really long wait for our appointments! 
But she is great!

Dr. Jessica Jacob in New Hyde Park. She's fantastic, but kind of a sticker...especially on the weight issue.

I use Eysler in Plainview (well technically I think it's hicksville) and he is a male, but I go to the midwife (marge) that works with him, almost exclusively.
they are both great, and the staff is too.

I use him too! I am actually meeting Marge tomorrow night - i was never free before to get an appt the evenings she does them. I know you are looking for a female, but I've also gone to the practice for many years and am happy there.

her name is dr.linkie. i believe there are other girls on this site that use her as well. i love her. i go to her, my sister, my sister in law, and my niece. and my sister has just recommened her to a fellow co worker and she loves her as well. let me know if you want me to fm you any more info.
