401K question....what happens when you leave a job where you had one?
I had one back at my job in NY....I have not done anything with it yet....
What am I supposed to do?

were you vested in the company mach? did the HR people give you the roll over info? if not call them and ask for it.

You need to either roll it over into another plan, leave it where it is or into a fund (don't remember the name of the type...IRA?)....those are your options. You can cash out but it's a big mistake with penatlies that aren't worth it.
