Steer clear of the Sands and the Claridge section of Ballys - the rooms are really old and run down.
My family loves the Trump Marina, but I like the boardwalk area much more.

The Sheraton is also nice...it's right next to the convention center about 4 blocks from the boardwalk.

We stayed at Bally's. I recommend staying somehwere on the boardwalk.
