Desperately need job advice
So, I took this job in the DOE b/c we needed different health insurance b/c we were tyring to have a baby and of course we need some help.
I obtained a position of Literacy Coach in an a horrible school in Manhattan where I am so miserable. The teachers I work with are awful. They have been there for the last 3-4 years and see me as an outsider. Which is fine b/c I am there to do a job. I just find that I am disconnected to the entire DOE. I taught in Catholic school for the last 10 years and was a really good teacher. My students liked me, my chair was impressed with the work that I have done and yet, here I am so not what I think they were looking for.
Part of me wants to quit, but I have never quit at anything in my life, but I am truly unhappy!
I am stuck in a horrible place

Ohh just wanted to say I am sorry but I wouldn't quit. Try not to let them get to you and stick it out at least for one year then look for something else!
