prison break... (spoiler)

1. Michael's (Wentworth Miller) plan to bust out his big brother obviously didn't work. Where does he go from here?

"One of the things about Michael's plan, one might say he was a little bit obsessed about it. He's very big on contingencies and back-up options. Now he has to find a new way out, and it's going to be even harder than it was in the beginning. Their new plan will take into account all of the things that went wrong in the first attempt. It's very rare to get a second opportunity to do this, so they have to make sure it doesn't go wrong. It's a whole new ballgame."

2. What happens to the show when these guys do break out?

"One of the things we're fond of saying around here is that the show is called Prison Break, not Prison Stay. We know full well this is a show about the breakout. It's not just called Prison where they'll be in there for years and years. The escape is just the beginning. We have it plotted out for the first three seasons. This show will change from year to year. It's not just one long adventure, it's several."

3. Michael hasn't been behind bars that long, yet he has commanded the respect of so many hardened cons in such a short period of time. How'd he do that?

"It's all about leverage. When you look at the beginning of the series, (mob boss) Abruzzi (Peter Stormare) was really his first contact. He had one piece of information over him, which was he knew the whereabouts of the man who put Abruzzi behind bars. So they had sort of a devil's bargain where you help me, I help you. Also, Michael holds the ultimate chip: I can get you out of here. So, don't bite the hand that feeds you. As much tension as there is, at the end of the day, this is the guy who holds the key to freedom and people want that, so there's a certain respect that has to be paid to him."

4. Vice President Caroline Reynolds (Patricia Wettig) is one cunning manipulator. In other words, she's the perfect politician. What's she up to this season?

"It's not so much about what she's going to be doing, it's more about what is behind her agenda. Toward the end of this season we see her story getting more complicated. With each episode we'll learn more about how connected she is to Lincoln Burrows' (Dominic Purcell) fate and what lengths she will go through to maintain her position of power."

5. The conspiracy to frame Lincoln for the murder of the vice president's brother goes pretty deep. How much more will we learn?

"As all conspiracies are, there are many levels to it. Just when you think you have it figured out, you haven't and that's what'll help keep this thing going forward."

6. There's some serious chemistry going on between Michael and the good doctor Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies). Any hanky panky happening this year?

"They have an incredibly interesting relationship. Neither of them knows the full story about each other. We'll discover a whole new side to her character. We'll learn a lot of things about various characters. It's a show where we know how they are in prison, but what we don't know is what they were like beforehand. (As for any romance) you'll have to tune in to find out. It's not as simple as a Moonlighting relationship — will they kiss or won't they. There are so many more complications to this and conflicting feelings. Is Michael manipulating her or does he really have feelings for her?"

7. T-Bag (Robert Knepper) is TV's best villain. You can't stand the guy, but you can't take your eyes off him, either. Obviously T-Bag isn't too happy about not getting out. How will he handle that?

"Not well. T-Bag is certainly a guy who likes to get his way. T-Bag doesn't take it kindly when he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed. And now you're messing with this man's livelihood. Little things can rub this man the wrong way. He's another guy where we will specifically learn a nice new piece of information that may shine a whole extra light on why he wants to get out."

8. How has C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar) been able to fool his wife into believing he's in Iraq while he's really in the joint?

"That's another story we're going to learn about. We'll see exactly how that went down and how he ended up in prison. He's been getting his hands on these postcards from Iraq to keep alive this thing so obviously, at one point, he was there. It's just a question of how did he end up in prison when his wife thinks he's still over there."

9. Speaking of C-Note, why didn't he realize that a big black Escalade parked in front of a prison guard gate would look mighty suspicious during an attempted jail break?

"Let's just say that it wasn't C-Note driving that truck. It's one of those things where his boys on the outside didn't take the same precautions he might have. Between me and you, there were some production issues as well. (laughing hard). We were quite shocked to see (the SUV) that close to the prison, too. It was supposed to be a little farther away. But let's just pin it on his boys on the outside."

10. Michael and Lincoln are really tight. How will their relationship play out?

"The big question everybody has asked themselves is: Would I do this for my brother? What is it about this relationship that makes someone do something this drastic for his brother? One of the things we're going to learn is exactly what that reason is. There are some secrets to their past that have created this dynamic, this desire, this drive within Michael. Let's just say that no one ever does something this right without having done something wrong."

do we know if Lincoln lives???? That's what I'm dying to know!!! I have a feeling that he isn't going to make it

well i heard different scenarioes...

one is that michael and lincolns father will play some huge role in the scenario..i also heard that the nurse might "call lincoln dead" but he isnt... AND i also heard that michaels jail mate might do something to the chair..(cause he still has access to the hold in the wall) at this point i dont kno what will actually happen

I never saw the series premier...

how are they all related. I *thought* that Michael and Lincoln had the same mother, but different fathers. and, I thought that Michael and Veronica were brother and sister by the same father (which would make her and Lincoln NOT related to each other)

Am I totally off?
