weird thing- anyone know what this could be?
my co-worker turned red before...head to toe..almost looked like a bad sunburn..and she was itchy. She said she had eaten a few almonds before this happened, but she had some last nite and was fine.
She went home, took a shower and a nap..then she threw up and all the red went away..
anyone know what the heck this could be?

Sounds like an allergy.....
ETA>>If I were her, I'd check with a doctor. She can also go for this allergy test and see what she's allergic to.

I've had hives to bad that I look sunburned - I've also had allergic reactions where after throwing up, I feel okay again.

Definitely sounds allergy related food allergies could pop up at any time. She should go to an allergist and get tested-if it is an allergy she should have the Dr give her a prescription for an epi pen and have eeryone close to her learn how to inject it. Especially nut allergies because they can be in food ground up and you could not even know it. My nephew has life threatening food allergies and we are all experts on the epi pen he does NOT leave home without it.

Tell your co-worker to go and see a doctor and see what she is allergic to. I've seen people that are allergic to certain things and they need to carry an Epi Pen with them because it gets to a point that the allergy gets really bad and sometimes they can't breathe.
