christmas tree shops...
Anyone ever been? whats it like? I will be passing one is it worth the stop?

They sort of remind me of Tuesday Morning, but with more stock. They're good for cheap housewares, wrappings, seasonal stuff.
But I don't know if their type of inventory has changed since being purchased by Bed, Bath & Beyond.

They're not as crappy...if that makes any sense.
I know a number of my former co-workers used to drive a couple hours just to go to one so they could make gift baskets for fundraisers.
If you're going to pass one of the stores, you should stop in just to check them out.

I don't think BBB made a big deal about it, but I don't think they hid the fact. I only know about it b/c my DH is in the industry and deals with both BBB and CTS.

It's my absolute favorite store! I always find outdoor decorations, kitchen ware, and all sorts of stuff there and always leave with a full cart.
This is a great time of year to go because they probably are starting to stock Christmas decorations.

Its an awesome store. I go to the one in Orange. I went twice last year and spent so much money. They have lots of stuff for cheap prices and you can get some nice grab bag gifts there.

I loved the one we stopped in in NJ. I thought it was just Christmas stuff - but oh, was I wrong. It was a great store for everything! Give it a shot!

There are a ton of them out here in RI and in MA!
This is MY FAVORITE STORE!!
The prices are unbeatable, and its got great stuff! Definitely stop if you are passing one!! They ahve some awesome Halloween stuff rght now and the Christmas is JUST starting to come in!!

There is one in Danbury, CT, not too far from where I live. I was surprised at what they had- nicer things that I expected. I should go get some fall decorations.

Usually when I take the ferry to Long Island for Thanksgiving, there is 3 ladies, who have bags and bags of stuff form CTS! I mean they take up probablly 5 booths on the ferry! They saiy they go every year at the same time, sinc all Xmas stuff is out, its not too crowded yet, and they get all their xmas paper, decorations, as well as gifts, etc...it saves so much money! My mom ALWAYS has to hit there when she comes out to visit!
