Ok-- well, since I have been home for the past couple of weeks..(The View)
I have developed a hatred of Elizabeth Hasselback. I find her so annoying.. I used to like her- but the more I watch The View the more she irks me.
Anyone else?

OMG, I am watching the View now and was thinking the same thing! She needs to close her mouth. I loved when Star said well if your believes are based on sand instead of a solid foundation then you should be worried - in regards to their discussion about the DaVinci Code.
She is sooo annoying and so opinionated. Way too conservative and right-wing!

yeah her comment about not reading the book cause she already read a book on her faith.. it's a freakin NOVEL! I can appreciate her POV but, it's not rooted in anything-- if it was, I would respect her more..

IMO, she's a "character" on the show.
She's paid to be passionate about certain things. She's the token young republican with deep Catholic roots.
Yes, in real life, she is republican and catholic, but I feel like she has to play it up for the show.
IMO, they all play up some sort of character.

I used to like her when she was on survivor and the look for less, but I'm not sure if she was the right person for that job.

I agree w/ you. I like her, she puts her opinions on the table just like everyone else. I think "hate" is such a strong word! JMO.

I find her and Star annoying.
Although I did feel really bad for her when they announced that some weirdo keeps reporting her and her husband to NYC CPS for supposedly mistreating their child, and they keep getting investigated and nothing turns up. That's not right, both harassing someone and wasting CPS's time.

I used to watch it ages ago, when it first started, but Meredith is really the only one I like now. The other three all annoy me in some way, but Joy less so than the other 2.

I can't stand Joy or Star. I like Elisabeth b/c she shares a lot of my views and is willing to stand up to Joy and Star, who are so pushy and annoying and downright rude to her at points. I don't think Elisabeth is the smartest person in the world but I can relate to her the most. I think the others are rude and bitter.
