Vinyl siding for an "L" ranch?
does anyone know about how much that would cost?
$10K? $15K? 20K or more?
I have no clue!

I am not sure but it might be cheaper to buy the siding yourself & hire someone to install it. That is what my parents did & it saved htem some money.

depends on the square footage and what particular siding yuo like....the fake cedar shake look in the front or regular siding etc...

I just went thru getting many quotes. As someone said above, it depends on the type of siding you get. There are many choices in regards to warranty, etc and the look. If you want the cedar shaker type look, it costs 3x more than the regular strips.
As someone said, it depends on the square footage - actually they calculate via 'squares'. 100 square foot is considered one square of siding. You also need to pay for them to remove the old siding, dumpster, house wrap, insulation, soffits (sp?), fascia, mounting squares for lights etc, possibly gutters....
Siding is just the start.
