Hot Cups Question?

I have a stupid question. I went to Party City to get really pretty christening napkins and desert plates for cake time for the christening. Dinner we will just use the chinet. Anyway, I didn't get the hot cups with the design becuase they were so expensive. I will spend $50 for cups, cake plates and napkins, which i think is ridiculous. However, I don't want it to look bad that I got the design in the napkins and desert plates and then they are drinking out of a regular white syrofoam cup... Does it matter?? Or should I just splurge and get everything in the same design??

I think its fine to just get the plain white styrofoam ones. Any time I throw a party, I always make sure I buy nice cake plates and napkins for decoration, but never buy the cups. I figure they are a waste considering some people use it, throw it out and then get another anyway. They are white, so they will go too.

Thank you. I hope I don't sound cheap, but they rip you off on those fancy napkins and cake plates. Each pack is like $3-4 and I am having a 100 people. There are only 18 in a pack, and those are for just the plates, I don't want to tell you how much the napkins are! :-0
