Re: bedroom colors

This is a little different but did you ever see apaper bag wall. It looks like leather. I have it in my LR with a golden yellow venetian plaster on the other walls. Venetian plaster is great too but VERY time consuming. Anyway if you want to do the paper bag on one wall and then paint the rest a burnt orange that would look great-my friend has that in the office of her house. Let me know if you want instructions.

Re: bedroom colors

I have venetian plaster in my bedroom on 2 walls. It was pure hell trying to get the technique right, but it came out nicely in the end (the whole process should take maybe 3 days, for us it took a week). 1 wall would definitely be better than 2.

Re: bedroom colors

I did my whole LR and downstairs hallway in venetian. Probably 30X12 in LR and then another 20 feet in the hallway. I think it took me months! Since it is like a triple process. No decorative painting can get the same effect though. I love it! Once you get the hang of it it is easy but hard on the arms

Do you have any pics? No one else I know has done this and I'm curious to see the kind of results others have gotten.

Re: bedroom colors

I will try and get them. We have a digital camera that doesn't work but I have a video camera that can take stills.
