Vinyl tiles? Anyone use them?
Are they easy to use? I hate my kitchen floor and just want to do something so I don't have to look at it anymore.
I don't think I can do real tile by myself so I figure this is a good project for me to do since DH works so much.
If you have any help/tips I'd appreciate it.
TIA!

Yep I used them in my first apartment. The floor was HORRIBLE so I went to Home Depot and picked out the squares and it made such a HUGE improvement. I put them down myself (I lived alone at the time), it was easy and cheap and what ever tiles you DONT use, bring them back and HD will give you a credit.

I used them for our kitchen floor in our apt and it looked sooo good!!
One word of advice, make sure you clean your floor VERY good, and vacuumn up all the dirt. it will make putting down the floor easier and smoother.
good Luck!

I did this with my grandfather in my mothers house a few years ago... very easy!!! The only part that might be a little difficult would be cutting peices to fit weird shaped corners or spaces.

I've installed them. Very easy. You just need to lay them out first. Find the center of the eaxct center and lay them out. You might find that you have a half tile on each end (by the walls or cabinets) or two really small cuts... then adjust the tiles accordingly so you will have less cuts.
BTW: I tend to prefer laying them in on the diagonal... it makes small spaces look bigger but it's more difficult to install.
