My dad and his fellow sailors....
are having a regatta in Little Neck Bay to support a program for underpriviliaged kids. Anyone interested, here is the infomation. Hi all; On September 24, in Little Neck Bay, 3 organizations will sponsor a regatta/celebration for the benefit of "Rocking The Boat" The story of "Rocking the Boat" can best be told by them and you can get an idea of the terrific work that is being done by visiting their web site at; www.rockingtheboat.org First: We hope that you will consider participating by registering your boat and sailing in the regatta Second: If you can't sail, it would be great if you're in a position to set up a corporate donation of cash or "in kind" Third: I'd love it if your would consider sponsoring my boat "Orion"-Hunter 376 go to http://www.rockingtheboat.org/regatta/orion/ and make a donation This will be a no overhead event. All costs are being borne by the sponsoring organizations so every dollar pledged will go to Rocking the Boat to support its work with inner city kids. They have hundreds of 'success' stories with kids from underprivileged backgrounds accomplishing terrific things, visit their website to see the boats they have built from scratch in a storefront on the Cross Bronx Expressway. Lyn and I will be grateful for any support you can offer. Happy sailing Phil & Linda Hunter 376 "ORION" Bayside, NY Anyone intested in donating can sponsor my Dad's boat. If you are in town, definately come by and check it out even if you don't own a boat by stopping by the Bayside Marina.

No, unfortunately I have to work so I can't fly home. But I thought it was a great cause so I told my Dad I would post the information to everyone.
