star tax rebate, how much are you getting?
I heard families are getting rebates on their school taxes if you are a star recipient. Trying to figure out how much our rebate check will be, has anyone found out? The county website loads, and then says the server is busy.

I just bumped up the thread with the info...including the website where you can look up the info on when the checks are bing sent...

Huntington $230.25 $384.51. checks are being mailed alphabetically by township or SD (not sure which).

I heard on the news this morning that the rebate will be taxed. Avg NYer will pay 35% tax.
