I hate myspace. I freaked out when I found my sister and her friends on there. I was not pleased with my sisters site and now it is changed. But it is crazy what is on there!

the school where I teach just brought in the police to specifically talk about things like internet predators and myspace. the kids just don't get it - they are putting themselves at such risk. even if they don't specifically invite someone over, some of them reveal soooo much personal info it wouldn't take much to track them down. it really is disturbing!!

Thats why you have to know what your kids are doing all the time... Look around the internet yourself.  You can look up anyones REAL name on myspace. Just first and last name

OMG, I am NOT allowing my kids to have computers. ( yea I know thats not gonna happen but I will try my hardest to have some sort of spyware on there untill they are 18!)

DH and I agreed that our children will not have computer in their room. Only in a public room like the kitchen or living room. I realize that won't solve everything but at least we can somewhat monitor whet they are doing. We also realize we have a few years before we have to worry about this as our 1st child is still in my belly but still! It is so scary what is out there. These sickos can be anyone! Most of them look so normal. Many of them were married too!
