How do I go about finding out where apartment complexes are located?

I live in Mineola and there are alot of apartment complexes there. I would check newsday, and apartments.com.

I think there are a few in Kew Gardens Hills, though it's only commutable there by express bus (or bus to Union Tpk subway). I'll keep my ears open, see if I hear of anything.


ETA: There are new rentals built right around the mall, where the chili's is, out in Westbury. They look really nice in person and I just found them online but they seem really pricey:

Archstone Westbury (1BR from $2,225, 2BR from $2,775)

when I wanted to move to Long Beach- I drove around and then went in and talked to the manager of different buildings

the ones in Queens I can think of right now are:

Fresh Meadows - 188th st (by Kohls)
Clearview Gardens in Whitestone - maybe they are just co-ops
Bayside - Oakland gardens and all those on the service road after Springfield Blvd
Whitestone - there is an apt building on 14th Ave right by the Cross Island - there is an express bus right in front
also there is a huge development off the service road at Linden Place that goes all the way to Parsons - not sure if apt or co-op
Flushing - Electchester by Queens College

Yeah we are trying to move to a place where people actually wear clothing and have hair styles from this decade!

I know, can't wait to see some of CPs finest out this weekend since the parade is Sunday.
I'm in a condo over by McNeil Park, there's tons of condos down this way in fact I think they are building new ones on the water right before the park.
