Leaving for Aruba on Saturday!
Any last minute reccomendations?
We plan on eating at El Gauchos and Flying Fishbone so far. We are also going to rent a Jeep and explore for 2 days I think.
I searched on here and LIW and I found so much information..., I am a little overwhelmed! So... if you would not mind putting some last minute suggestions here I would appreciate it!
Anyone do horseback riding or parasailing there?

El Gauch and Flying Fishbone are amazing!!! Don't forget your camera at Flying Fishbone at sunset!

As for restaurants, besides Flying Fishbone, we really liked Chalet Suisse and Papiamentos. Before we went on our honeymoon, someone that goes to Aruba a lot recommended them. They were really good! Have a great time!

Check out the Hyatt- ( such a great property)
The waterslide is fun!!!!
They also have a beautiful restaurant opened @ night with these swans swimming in front- very romantic.
The casino there is small but very nice. ( good salsa band)
Definitely try the sangria while you are @ El Gauchos.
Valentinos - we didn't eat there, but everyone that did swore the italian food there was better then the italian food here.

I just got back from Aruba, it was great 
The weather hasn't been that great though, lots of clouds and some rain. Where are you staying? We stayed at the Hyatt and it was so beautiful! Go to Le Dome - probably the best restaurant on the island.

Julie, definately bring your camera to The Flying Fishbone to take pics of the sunset, El Guacho is delicious and all the restaurants in the Hyatt are great. When we went, we also ate at the Sunset Grille in the Radisson and Aqua Grill across from the Hyatt. You are going to have a great time. Take lots of pics.

Go to baby beach...when you rent a jeep, they should give you a map...i believe it's on the southern side of the island. It's kind of tricky to get there but SOOO worth the trip...

Flying Fishbone rules. Def go to Oranjanstad(capital) and do some shopping.
Also, get a couples massages. they are fantastic.

Which restaurants you liked the most? And when you rernted the jeep...did you go to baby beach?

lighthouse- there is an italian rest there. AMAZING view
there is a new restaurant just opened two weeks ago. Crustaceans and something. It has both seafood and steak...

I would NOT reccomend going on ANY of the ATV or JEEP excursions!!!! we rented a jeep ourselves and couldnt believe how many of them day after day BROKE DOWN and they are SLOWWWWWWWWW- the ATV you can go fast but where they take you BORING- also when you finally get to the "SIGHTS" like the natural pool- hello in 30 minutes you have to go and trust me the ride is uncomfortable and very far- you are stuck with about 4-5 adults, its hot and sweaty cause its an open jeep and they got flats continously, DH and I were so happy we rented on our own for 10 days and did our own thing- we did everything those tours do and got to see more- with the tours you are rushed.
