I know this has been posted a gazillion times... but
WHY, WHY, WHY.... do peopel find it necessary to talk on their cell phone while they are peeing? What's so important that it can't wait 30 seconds???  Just plain gross

I just find it gross, I know if I was on the other end of the phone I wouldn't want to hear someone else peeing, or other things that might be going on in a public ladies room...

well the ladies room at my job isnt public, and if im on my cell it means i have no customers....
i have to be quick in the bathroom and on my cell so i kill tow birds with one stone.
i wouldnt call anything professional like time warner or my credit card or aything, but my friends or fmaily, yep
eta: i also do it at home and in public restrooms.... although they arent my place of business. its usually at hte movie theatre because i cant wit to tell someone about the movie

I don't know if the phone rings, I'd answer it and tell them I'd call back. But I wouldn't call someone from the bathroom, I never need to speak to anyone that badly. Plus it may make other people in the rest room uncomfortable.
ETA...I don't use the phone in the bathroom at home either.

LMAO!!! That is about the NASTIEST thing EVER!!! AND, do they realize that their GERMY hands are touching their cellphone as they pizz and chat? Do they wash their cellphones when they're finished? YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRASHY!!!
ETA: To each his (her) own, I guess, but you'd never find me doing this while I'm in the restroom.

I have never seen anyone doing that. Though once DH called me while I was in the ladies room, and I waited till I was out to call back.
To be honest, if I was talking to someone and heard them peeing, I might be a little . I think for me I'd want a "don't ask, don't tell" policy if you're going to tinkle and talk.

I personally find it rude. But I also find it rude to talk on your cell phone in ANY confined space (elevators, buses, trains, dressing rooms, bathrooms, etc.)
You give the other people around you no choice but to overhear your whole conversation.
You want to be gross in your own bathroom, that's one thing (although I wouldn't want to be the person on the other end), but to do it in a public bathroom.
I mean, what's so important that it can't wait a couple of minutes?

I have never actually talked while in the bathroom but I have brought my cell in with me - since I am pregnant there have been times when I am waiting for the OB to call me back on something important and I don't want to miss the call (it would take forever for them to call me back then). SO I take my phone in just in case...to each his own.
