Sephora's Return Policy?
I recently bought a Nars cream eyeshadow from Sephora, but it creases within the hour after I put it on. Does anyone know if Sephora allows you to return used cosmetics? I'm thinking no, but I thought I saw a post about someone returning Bare Escentuals cosmetics there.

When I was in there last weekend, I heard the salesperson talking to a woman next to me and she was telling her if she did not like the makeup she was buying to just return it. So, I assume you can return opened products. Just call and ask though before making a trip there.

ABSOLUTELY. i was the one that returned the BA kit. i was quite surprised that no questions were asked and they did not even check the products. ask for samples when you go, they tend to be VERY generous w/ them.
on a side note, i went to bloomies yesterday to buy a bliss product and the laura mercier counter was right across from bliss. i got to talking w/ the SA and she gave me like 7 samples. i swear these will last me a few months. the foundation alone ($40 a bottle) will probably last me 6 months. samples are the way to go. i should hit all the malls and stock up for the year.
ETA: if you cannot find your receipt i suggest buying NARS lipstick. i have the "dolce vita" and LOVE it. it goes on very natural and is SO moisturizing.

Thanks, all!! I have a Sephora across the street from my apt., so unfortunately most of my rent ends up there
Another store that is GREAT with samples is Molton Brown.
I will def try the Dolce Vita lipstick. I have Viva Las Vegas or something, and love it...but it is a bit dry.

I don't know about returns - but the best eyeshadow i have used is Stila - no creasing and stays on ALL day.
My favorite colors are Kitten and Oasis.
