Today I went to the primary for my throat (got amoxycillin ; ) ) and it was first 150/90 then 135/80. ANyone experiencing this? I am 22 weeks.

Re: a little concerned
I would call your OB and tell them what is going on. The same thing happened to a friend of mine and she had preeclampsia. She went on to have a healthy baby boy, but her BP did need to be monitored and she needed to change her diet, etc.

Re: a little concerned
My BP is normally very low, but since being pregnant it's on the high side... around 140/80. Since my pressure has consistently been like this since pregnant- it hasn't been an issue. (normally- the 1st test is high and then by the 2nd i'm able to calm down- this is sort of normal "white coat syndrome" - i think i elevate my own BP while waiting in the lobby in anticipation of taking the BP test).
I would call your doc if you are concerned- maybe tell her it's still a little high & see what she says?

Just curious...if anyone knows...what would be the proper diet to lower BP? I dont feel like I am eating all that bad. I am sure it has to do with less salt but what else?

Re: a little concerned
My doctor told me that it's normal for your BP to be a little bit higher during pregnancy...
Also remember that the first number (top number) is like immediate stress, 2nd number is something that they get more worried about if it's high, and 90 isn't too high for most people.
That's how my dr explained it to me at least.
