Another bedroom set question with poll

How much did you spend on your bedroom set and do you have a queen or king set?

If you remember, please factor in delivery, assembly, and taxes into your vote.

We bought from Pier 1, and we got the set on sale. DH had a credit card with them that he had not used in years, and when they reactivated it, he got the same discount (maybe an additional 10-15%?). I remember delivery being reasonable.

I know we paid well under $2k for a queen headboard, two dressers, mirror, and two nightstands.

Gosh, I feel like we spent so much (+$5000), but we went in with the attitude that we wanted decent furniture and it hopefully would be the only purchase of it we would ever make, so we picked something classic and timeless.

We have a Queen sleigh bed, 2 nightstands, a 6-drawer dresser with mirror and an armoire.

We spent about $2200 for a Queen Headboard only (no rails or footboard), double dresser with mirror, tall armoire, and 2 night tables from Seamens.

Trish, we would have done the same thing if we were living in our own house or what not. The set I LOVE is in the $5 - 6000 range but it would be a shame if it didn't fit in our next bedroom.

Re: Another bedroom set question with poll

We've been married 7 years and we still have never bought a bedroom set. Money has always been tight and it seemed like the one room that didn't need the furniture.
