I leave DH with DS for TEN minutes
so I can get some things done around here and this is what I come back to
DH said -it keeps him quiet- and apparently it's not the first time he gave DS the newspaper to rip apart....now his hands are filthy Image Attachment(s):

So does DH
I don't mind so much when he rips up magazines (except when he puts them in his mouth) but with the newspaper he is FILTHY

Just a word of caution....my pediatrician told us not to let our son play with the newspaper. The ink contains lead, and if they put it in their mouths, they are ingesting that lead. Same thing if the newsprint gets on their hands.

My FIL gives Emily the newspaper all the time when he babysits for her because it keeps her occupied and it drives me crazy because she eats it!!!
