do not know where to post this... need advice!

My sister is adopting a newborn girl. I am so excited. She was born Monday. She will be home tomorrow . I want to give her a baby shower. here is the dilema.... she wants it the weekend of July 14th. ( My b day) anyway, there is no possible way I am going to be able to pull this off nicely in a nice restaurant etc in time. Her boss is goign away the following weekend when I want to throw it. I do not want to do it in a house, I really want to do it in a nice restaurant etc. My sister has been thru a lot miscarriages, failed IVF etc. How do I handle this? Her MILis starting to drive me insane also... so I decided with DH we are going to pay for the whole shower. What do I do without getting anyone angry at me? I do not have either parent they both passed away, so I cannot turn to them, and I already put a call into my aunt, who I am close to , she is not home. HELP!
