Totally confused on the Ovulation part
OK.... Ladies I need some help.
I just read one of the post saying you have one day to TTC (when the egg drops).
I though the ovulation window was between approx. the 9th day between the 1st day of your period and the 16th day (based on a 28 day cycle).
I thought I had 7 days to "TTC" per month (We really just started last month).
Am I totally clueless?
Do I have to buy kit to find out what my ovulating time is?
TIA

i have a thread a few down that has a lot of useful info..
I think yes you do have widow of time where you should BD.. I was told that spermies can last a few days so that it is important to BD during a certain window of time..

Re: Totally confused on the Ovulation part
You can actually TTC for a few days...the sperm should be there waiting for the egg...so, it's best to bd in the days before ovulation.
As long as you have good quality cervical mucus...the sperm can live for up to 5 days.
Good Luck!

Re: Totally confused on the Ovulation part
There actually is a window smaller than the 7 days you posted, but I think that range is wide because not all women ovulate on day 14. Just be careful with that rule. I have 35 day cycles and I ovulate on CD21, so if I only BD days 9-16 I would have no chance at getting a BFP.
