Woo Hoo! We booked our Christmas trip to Key West!!
We decided this year that we wanted to be somewhere warm and away from the craziness of the extended family  so we finalized our trip to Key West! yeah! I can't wait... We booked this house Key West home oh it'll be sooo nice! Has anyone been to Key West, where should we go and what should we do?!

I just came back from Key West when I was on a cruise last week. It was beautiful, and HOT!
You definately need to go to the Key Lime pie factory and have a slice of KLP. If you like KLP.
I also did some wine tasting at the Key West Winery next door. They make wine from all different kinds of fruit except grapes. We ended up buying a few bottles to bring home.
The shops are good, the bars are pretty cool. Any questions FM me! Have a great time!

The house looks great! I went to Orlando one year around xmas and it was great not being around the craziness. It was even better being in 80+ degree weather in Dec.
I was weird seeing Santa and his dolphins on people's lawns though.

I went to Key West back in March. Only for one night.
There is plenty of shopping to do.
Also, the sunset and plenty of bars.
That house is gorgeous.
Would you mind FMing me with info on price or how I can go about looking into something like that.

The Hemingway house is neat. There are cats everywhere and they all have the neatest names.
We had great food (first wings and margaritas for happy hour, so good and inexpensive at $8 for one drink each and the wings! Then we went back for dinner) at Kelly's. It was owned by the actress Kelly McGillis, though I heard she sold it. Don't know if that's true. Hopefully it's the same. We ate outside on the patio, where it was so lovely.

oooo October is NUTTY in Key West!
Fantasyfest is towards the end of the month - body painting and beads, a la New Orleans! Make sure you have a drink for me at Fat Tuesdays- it's a bar with a billion frozen drink choices all up on the wall.

That sounds like an awesome plan!!!
I went over 10 years ago so I don't remember all there is to do but we did some boat trips, snorkeling, the beaches and lots of relaxing. I know I had fun.

Jenn, we went in January and had a great time. Blue Heaven is THE place for breakfast -- really neat!! And of course sunsets at the end of Duvall. Also the White House tour was neat if you are at all interested in history - we needed to get away from the craziness of Duvall once in a while. Also the wine tasting someone else mentioned, and across the street from there is a spa shop with really nice lotions and stuff - i got the key lime masque and love it. The trolley tour was neat too. Have a great time!!!
