Is there a list of foods to avoid if you are going to BF...
I googled... but I am getting random lists with a few things on it and the reasons not to eat that certain food...

Broccoli I heard is really bad but Karen is right, same as when pregnant, limit caffeine, etc..

Limit dairy, peanutbutter, cabbage, broccoli, raisins, high fiber foods, anything with tomato sauce, carbonated drinks, caffeine, beans, MSG, eggs. This are highly irritating and some highly allergenic foods that can bother the baby while breastfeeding.

I BF, and I read that shelfish, and tunafish you shouldn't eat while BF because of the high mercury levels.

I don't know. Almost all of my friends did nothing. Just ate anything they wanted and were fine. Only if you notice problems in your baby would I start to limit stuff.

I had to learn this one the hard way  I was eating this yummy tomato sauce all week and Alex was having the WORST reflux all week... I didn't put two and two together until it was too late!
