Zoning approved! Woo-hoo!!!
So excited....DH and I have been planning this renovation since we bought the house...when we moved in, we didn't do anything...paint, fix the nail holes in the wall or anything....put up any decorations because we knew we were going to remodel and stuff. This is such a long process to get drawings....find a carpenter, electrician, plumber, etc. We had gotten everything and applied for the zoning permit (before we could apply for a building permit we had to be approved by zoning). Got the call today....zoning has been approved, we can now move onto building permits! I'm hoping we can break ground before labor day! I'm sooooo excited!!!!!

I will take lots of pictures....I've can't wait til it's my turn to post before and after's...I love seeing everyone else's.
We have a cape...and the upstairs in not really fisnished at all....when we bought the house, they had a bed upstairs...but it wasn't really a bedroom. There is no bathroom at this point.
We are making a master suite for DH and I...a huge bedroom, a loft/study area, a bathroom and a walk-in-closet.
